I love science; and I love watching young people see the mysteries of the universe come to life. I left a business career to pay it forward.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI remember teaching freshman physical science on buoyant forces, and Archimedes principle. The lesson plan coincided with my annual review, which included an observation from the asst. superintendent. The lesson was loaded with water in the classroom and splashing (jumping from the desk into a kiddie pool). … the look on the kids faces, and on my boss, as the lesson happened was absolutely fantastic. Although I don’t remember the test scores, I do remember lots of smiles and great discussion.
What would you do with the $25,000?Probably road-trip to Fermi Lab outside of Chicago; and likely take a few more trips to the historic Mecca’s of physics.
