I've known since 2nd grade that I wanted to be a teacher. I love seeing others learn and grow in love with math and science, what I teach, but also seeing them develop what they love - sports, art, music, and academics.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are so many memories of fun classroom lessons - making DNA models, cell division with Oreos, or a Hawaiian themed probability fair. But my most memorable was buying a coat for a student so he could go on a field trip. I would do anything for my students.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would finish paying for my second masters degree and then pay off debt. I love buying things for my students and classroom to make it feel more like home.
