Victoria Ellis

As a World History educator, I am dedicated to instilling in my students a appreciation for our collective past. My goal is to empower them to understand their place in the global narrative and critically analyze societal future. The true measure of my success lies in the lasting impact on students' intellectual curiosity. When former students return to share how history has influenced their perspectives, it reinforces my belief that teaching history as influenced their perspectives.

I really have two I cannot choose from: -I had a student that was struggle all semester and when they finally were able to get understand themselves it gave them a boost in their confidence. The growth that shows is amazing. -I take students on trips in the summer to get them out of the textbook and into the history for themselves. This one time we where in a cathedral and I was showing them a mason's mark on the floor. They were so into listening to the story and asking the questions.

As part of my commitment to enhancing students' educational experiences, I have established a scholarship program for our summer history trips. This initiative is designed to provide opportunities for deserving students who demonstrate a genuine passion for historical learning but face financial constraints.
