I became a teacher because I was raised by a young single mom. She worked 7 days a week so she could afford a private education. I just want to be able to give that same quality education to all of my students so they know how important they are.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWatching a student grow 2 grade levels in a 6 month time period. This child not only grew academically but they grew socially and built strong relationships in and out of the classroom.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use that award money to help start my family and look into going back to school for my masters.
