I want to teach students that they have a place in making the choices that will become the history of tomorrow. With my dynamic & interactive teaching style, I prepare students to be lifelong learners who grow from inquiry, discovery, & taking chances. By inspiring my students to become creators & to critically think about the past & the world around them, I provide an avenue for my students to develop their creative spirit & global awareness, therefore shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

I directed an original show, A Trip Around the World: A Journey through Music, Art & Dance which surveyed history from the beginning of time to the present. Scenes included dances, songs & skits about India, Greece, West Africa, the Incas, American Revolution, & more! I choreographed the dances while the songs & skits were written by students as projects in my social studies classes. Student work was also displayed in an interactive museum. The students truly brought their learning to life!

I would travel the world to visit all of the places I teach my students about in order to gain a deeper understanding of the history and culture. I would also take my students on more trips to immerse them further into their learning. Additionally, I would sponsor the buses for my students and I to go lobby government leaders, and participate in summits to further enact the needed changes we critically discuss and analyze in social studies class.
