I became a teacher because, since I was 5, I’ve always been drawn to helping others learn. I was inspired by incredible role models who shared their passion for teaching and made learning exciting. Their dedication showed me the profound impact a great teacher can have and I wanted to give back by inspiring future generations the same way I was inspired.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moment was when a struggling student finally understood a challenging concept after weeks of effort. The look of pride and excitement on their face was priceless. It reminded me that teaching isn’t just about delivering content. It’s about guiding students through their struggles and help them believe in their own potential.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000 I would set clear goals for the money, such as enhancing my classroom, funding student projects in my STEM class or pursue professional development. I will share my success with my school community to inspire others. Finally, consider future opportunities to further my educational initiatives. I will enjoy making a positive impact on my current students and students in the future.
