Tami Loveland

Since I was six, I dreamed of becoming a pediatrician, but in college, my heart led me to teaching. I wanted to see children every day, witness their growth, and be there for the joys and hardships that shape them. I live for those transformative 'light bulb' moments where challenges turn into triumphs, and children realize their infinite potential. Plus, I ADORE Science!

In 25 years of teaching middle school, I've had the privilege of starting clubs, attending dances, participating in dunk tanks, enjoying concerts, handing out diplomas, and seeing former students’ weddings and their children in my classroom. My most cherished moments are when a student, once saying 'I can’t,' not only succeeds but steps up to teach another. When they teach, my heart soars with pride!

We have a brave student battling DIPG cancer, and I’d like to establish an annual scholarship in his honor. Additionally, my son is completing his CIS degree and wants to start a tech club at the middle school level. This funding would help ensure the club’s success, creating a lasting foundation to inspire future students for years to come!
