I believe that knowledge has power to transform lives, and I wanted to create opportunities for students- especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. My goal is not just to educate but ti mentor, guide and instill a lifelong love for learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of the most memorable teaching experiences was when a student, who had never left her city, was inspired by my travel stories and applied for a study abroad program in Europe. She was accepted, spent a year studying there, and returned with a transformed perspective. Later, she nominated me as her Star Teacher, crediting my influence on her journey. Today, she is pursuing computer science at MIT. Knowing I played a small role in expanding her world reminds me of the true impact of teaching.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win 25000$, I will invest in hands-on STEM learning by purchasing lab equipment, funding student research projects, and support student participation in STEM competitions, provide resources for underserved students, establish mentorship programs. My goal is to create lasting opportunities that inspire students, ignite curiosity and prepare them for future careers in STEM fields.
