I teach to inspire, empower, and help students find their path. It’s more than a job—it’s my purpose and passion.

I love teaching because it’s the only career I’ve ever wanted since I was 3. There’s nothing more fulfilling than impacting young people’s lives and helping them realize their potential. I’m passionate about helping my students discover who they are and what they want to do with their future. Whether it’s through meaningful discussions, creative projects, or simply being there to listen, I aim to inspire and support them every step of the way. Teaching isn’t just my job—it’s my purpose.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moment was when a student approached me at the end of the trimester & said, “Passing your class is the first time I’ve ever passed an English class.” I saw the pride in their eyes, knowing they had accomplished something they once thought was out of reach. I worked to create a supportive environment where they felt safe to make mistakes & grow. Seeing their hard work pay off was a reminder of why I teach—to help students realize their potential & believe in themselves.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest it back into my classroom to create an even more engaging and supportive learning environment. I would expand my classroom library with diverse, high-interest books that resonate with reluctant readers, helping them discover the joy of reading. Additionally, I’d purchase flexible seating and collaborative workspaces to foster creativity and group projects.
