Tell us why you became a teacher

I found that being around young children gave me a lot of joy, sharing the spirit that they have within them! Helping children learn in a way that is beneficial to each child individualized is what I saw needed to be added to the education system so when I became a teacherI immediately was attracted to the pre-K system in the Florida schools program. This program promotes individualization of each child and support for their family. This was aligned with my paradigm of thinking, and living!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Every year is a memorable experience. There is so much laughter, joy, music, proud, moments, family, gatherings, and so much information learned and processed! Every year it's so hard to say goodbye to the class I had but it's always rejuvenated with the new one next year.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put it toward my own children's education. They are going to be graduating next year and looking forward to going to a university to extend their knowledge and experience life at the next level. This money would help me afford to support them in their endeavors!
