I always knew since I was little that I wanted to be a teacher. I played school after school with my brother or my teddy bears. I watched my mom go to college to become a teacher. I just knew in my heart that it was what I was born to do.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience cannot be stated in a moment. It is all of the moments when I saw a "lightbulb go off" for students; when a student said a different strategy helped them; when I was able to get money donated for the student to go to Washington DC, become a cheerleader, or anything else they wouldn't have been able to experience otherwise; or when my husband & I became Godparents for one of my students that died. I love my students.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won $25,000, I would probably reinvest it in my classroom. Doing so would make me happy and it would be investing in my future.
