I enjoy spending time with children and helping them learn and grow. I love reading and history, and it makes me happy to share that love with my students.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy students dress in period costume for Revolutionary War Day. They make candles, butter, solve secret codes, play games from the 1700s, and more. Finally, they portray a hero or heroine after writing a biography about that person. It brings history to life!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would refresh my classroom library and purchase supplies for our Revolutionary War Day. I would travel to historical locations and purchase items to bring back for my classes. I would enjoy some special pampering as well!
