Teaching physical education is the most rewarding position. I instill knowledge of fitness, health, and life onto students of all abilities.

Physical Education was the arena where I could not only express who I was as a person but also strive to improve my abilities in other areas of school and life. Perseverance was the characteristic that supported this success. Athletics and physical fitness ignited my passion for teaching physical education to students in a way that inspires them to reach their fullest potential and beyond; and for some, to reach beyond limitations.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceAs a physical educator of students with disabilities, I pride myself on my expertise in differentiation to accommodate all abilities. My most memorable moments in teaching are when I can create, innovate, or adapt equipment in order to suit the unique needs of my students. Whether its using Velcro lacrosse sticks for catching; noodle hoop hockey sticks for stick handling or a low hanging hoop for basketball shooting, all of my students experience inclusivity and empowerment.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to win the $25,000; I would pay off my student loans, make home improvements and enhancements, and take a long overdue trip to Disney and Hawaii with my wife.
