Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I am passionate about inspiring and guiding students to reach their full potential. I love helping them learn, grow, and develop the skills they need to succeed in life.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was with a student who struggled with reading. No matter how hard he tried, he felt discouraged and frustrated. I worked with him patiently l used creative and engaging strategies to make reading fun. One day he picked up a book and read a full paragraph aloud with confidence. The joy and pride on his face were unforgettable. Seeing the moment of success and knowing I played a part in his growth reminded me why I became a teacher.

What would you do with the $25,000?

What I would do with the $25,000 is take a well deserved break by taking a vacation, treat myself or spend time with loved ones to recharge. I’d also give back to my school or donate to a charity, help a struggling student or family, or simply contribute to a cause I’m passionate about. But mostly I’d put some of it into my savings or emergency fund for financial security.
