I became a teacher originally because I loved reading and discussions, I wanted to give back to others, and I wanted to travel and saw the demand for English teachers abroad. This career embodied so many of my passions.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was teaching a SLAM poetry class for the first time and holding a showcase for my students. In the beginning, students were so nervous and resistant. I had to give so many pep talks. For the showcase, they invited their family and friends, and many teachers also came to show their support. There were more people than expected. Witnessing their growth and bravery as they performed in front of the crowd made me so proud. (Even the principal cried!)
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000 dollars, I would love to travel and put a down payment on a house!
