I love teaching because it allows me to shape young minds, inspire curiosity, and make a lasting impact on students’ lives.

I became a teacher because I am passionate about mathematics and helping students succeed. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler ideas that students can grasp. Teaching allows me to make a meaningful impact by guiding students toward academic and personal growth. I also find fulfillment in seeing students gain confidence in their abilities and develop a deeper appreciation for learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was during my time in Zimbabwe, where I taught at a suburban school and successfully achieved a 100% pass rate. It was an incredibly rewarding moment, as it reflected the dedication and collaborative effort between my students and me.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I receive the $25,000, I will purchase textbooks and calculators for my former school in Zimbabwe and contribute a portion to my church there. Additionally, I will invest in classroom materials and use part of the funds to renovate my parents’ house.
