I became a teacher because of my first grade teacher Ms. Ray. She invested so much in me and support outside of school that i said I wanted to be just like her.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moment was the years I was afforded the opportunity to teach the students of challenge with discibilties . I spent 10 years doing and loving every moment. This is where i learned my strongest skill set, classroom management.
What would you do with the $25,000?I desire to establish a program in the school system that would offer students with emotional, mental and academic challenges support to help them through school. I would also conduct motivational speaking moments for teachers that may offer insight that i have gained. And most assuredly, I would visit the wonderful students of Ghana where I presently do online classes in art with them.
