Honestly, I wanted to be an interpreter back in Cuba, where I attended College, but I was not able to get into that path after Highschool. I thought I would switch majors later on, but I ended up finding my true vocation on the first year of my career.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne time I took one of my Spanish classes to a Spanish restaurant to use the language for proficiency purposes. They were able to order their food in the target language and comunicate all of their needs and wants as well. They made me very proud to be their teacher!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay for my daughter's high school tuition. She attends a private school where her needs are met and she is happy and working at her fullest potential but that comes at a high cost. Her education and overall hapiness is my priority. I would also take 7 of my less privileged students to a Spain tour for a full language and culture inmersion experience.
