Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I always loved helping others learn. In school, I enjoyed explaining materials to my friends, and later, working with kids became my passion. I cherish every moment, seeing their excitement and growth. Teaching gives me purpose, allowing me to make a difference in children's lives and inspire a love for learning every day.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

A student once told me he wished he could stay in kindergarten because he missed everything we did together. That moment reminded me of the impact I have on my students. Knowing my classroom was a place of joy, learning, and connection reinforced my passion for teaching and my commitment to creating meaningful experiences that last beyond the school year.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I received $25,000, I would buy essential classroom supplies to make learning more engaging and hands-on. I would also take an educational trip to gain new ideas and strategies to bring back to my students. Investing in both my classroom and my own learning would help me create an even better experience for my students.
