I've always felt a deep calling to teach. Initially, I was drawn to medicine, but my love for science led me to realize that my true passion lies in educating others. I found a way to combine my passion for science and teaching, guiding students to understand and appreciate the wonders of the subject. Becoming a science teacher allows me to inspire the next generation while fulfilling my lifelong dream of making a meaningful impact through education.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was leading the Tech Ambassadors, members of a club I oversee, where I mentored them in creating an iOS adventure through the decades PD for an Apple Conference. The students designed the content and led the session for educators, leaders, and Apple team members. It was rewarding to watch them confidently present their work, knowing I was preparing these future leaders to think creatively, collaborate, and thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like America's Favorite Teacher, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
