I have always been a teacher...you see I love learning. Not in the traditional way, but in a whole body, mind & spirit way. I am an only child raised by my Mom. I had to learn to survive. I started baby sitting at 11 yrs, became a camp counselor and went on to get my teaching degree from Bridgewater State University. I learned early on I liked sharing what I learned, it felt good and I like to help people. One of the reasons I became a teacher is to share knowledge in non-traditional ways.

I taught the two year old class in Private Jewish Preschools for 30 years. Early Childhood Education is simply the most important and crucial,"becoming who we are" years of our lives! I took great pride in being the BEST I could be for my students everyday. My Philosophy was to first build their trust and set a foundation for the love of learning, giving and sharing. My most memorable moments are the children running into class with hugs and smiles! Being their FIRST teacher...priceless.

$25,000 dollars would ensure my rent is covered for the next 2 years and will allow me the flexibility to continue to be a substitute teacher. I live a minimalist life in my 5th wheel trailer in Inglewood and I love living in the heart of my community that I humbly serve. The school systems are in need of good substitute teachers to keep the students on track, work as mentors to students and staff, provide a safe space for the students and of course have some fun while learning!
