I relocated to Florida from New Jersey in 2015, and was offered the opportunity to start my teaching career as an Assistant Teacher at a PPEC (Prescribed pediatric extended care) Center. I really enjoyed working with the students, knowing that I will make a positive impact in their lives. I also enjoyed seeing them grow and learn through their guidance. I am now an ESE teacher at Fataj Transition Learning Academy. I teach 1st and 2nd grade and could not be any happier.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy memorable teaching experience is being an ESE teacher. Knowing that I am helping my students accomplish and overcome challenges. Also, knowing that I am changing their lives by teaching academic, social, and behavioral skills that they will use throughout their lives. I love acting as an advocate for my students who might struggle to advocate for themselves.
What would you do with the $25,000?1- I would make a one time donation to ST. Jude Hospital. 2- Make a donation to my current school Fataj Transition & Learning Academy 3- Help my family
