I love teaching because it brings me joy and passion. When I am teaching an objective, and the children get it the biggest smile comes.

I became a teacher to help shape the minds of children. Also to let children know the importance of school and why they are here to learn but can have fun all at the same time. Lastly, I was inspired by my own 10th grade teacher Mrs. McCorkle whom took me under her wing and pulled out the potential she knew I had.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching moments was when I taught 4th grade, and I had the students to connect with the real world by creating a restaurant from the ground having a budget of 1,000,000 dollars. We were learning place value and our community. Students had to research placement, buy furniture, hire staff, and all. Parent later came to me 3 years later thanking me for such an in-depth project that her son had to do almost the same in 7th grade and he received an A.
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would take my classroom on a shopping trip to get their input on how to remodel the classroom and then have them pick one thing they would love to see within the classroom. I would love to go on one of those educational conference that is held out of town. I would love some alternative seating for my students as well. Lastly, I would like to order a plaque for my principal to show my appreciation.
