Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Celebrating diverse cultures within the classroom can create a rich learning experience, where students learn from each other's backgrounds, fostering respect and understanding. I love embracing all the different cultures in my classroom and having students bring those traditions to the classroom.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would go on a retreat to be rejuvenated over the summer. I want to design and fund outdoor classrooms or gardens that promote hands-on learning experiences in nature, encouraging environmental stewardship and creativity. Invest in upgrading classroom technology, such as interactive whiteboards, projectors, or software that enhances learning and engagement.Organize educational field trips that expose students to real-world experiences related to their curriculum, broadening their understanding!
