I struggled in school and wanted to help students who don't always "get it" on the first try. In my classroom, I aim to create a comfortable, supportive space for learning. I became a teacher because I love working with children and seeing their growth. I believe all students are capable of great things, and I work hard each year to instill that belief. My teaching journey began with lifeguarding and CPR, where I discovered my passion for helping others learn and grow.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was during COVID. We were teaching online and I would have morning meetings online with my students before starting my lesson. So many students thanked me for teaching them and chatting about things they were facing. What my students didn't realize, is that I needed them too. They helped me get through and motivated me to be a better teacher and still have fun!!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to pay off student loans and car payments.
