Tell us why you became a teacher

My path to teaching began with a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of others. I have always believed that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about fostering a love for learning. Throughout the years, I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of students, each with unique needs and potential.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

It is my work with students with ASD that has truly captured my heart and become a passion that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Teaching students with autism is not just a profession for me. It is a passion that drives my every move and decision in the classroom. The unique challenges and rewards of working with students with ASD have shaped my teaching philosophy and approach in so many ways.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win, I will use the funds to purchase a variety of resources for my students. This includes prizes to motivate and reward their achievements, learning materials to enrich their educational experience, and sensory toys to support their individual needs. These items will not only enhance their learning but also provide additional support in the classroom. Additionally, I will buy materials and equipment for our mini science experiments, making hands-on learning more engaging and effective.
