Tell us why you became a teacher

Because I have always loved kids, In each of them I see my own children 🙏🥰 they are the future of our nation and being a teacher with love, patience & passion is leaving excellent marks on their cognitive development for all areas of their lives! All Children are a blessing!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my greatest joys is seeing my students grow—emotionally, socially, and academically—especially my special ones with autism or physical challenges🥰. It warms my heart when they look up to me and come to school excited and full of joy! Even years later, they remember me with love, and that means the world. I’ll never forget when a little girl, worried about her sick mom, smiled and said, “Ms. Egly, I’m not sad anymore because we prayed for her.” Moments like that inspire me every day!❤️

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the contest and were awarded the prize, I would donate part of the money to charities for children with cancer such as St. Jude, 🥰 and the rest I would use to secure a home for myself and my family.🙏💑🧍🏻‍♂️👫
