Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I believe in turning learning into a joyful, transformative adventure. My classroom is a safe haven where every child is encouraged to explore, dream, and grow. I’m passionate about sparking curiosity and nurturing a lifelong love of learning in each student. I like to start the love of Science early for my students!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most cherished moments was hearing from a former student—whom I met at age two—now a college graduate. She told me I was her favorite teacher and that my influence still inspires her. That heartfelt message reaffirmed the lifelong impact of early education and the power of a caring teacher.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would invest in a family home—a place where we can build memories, grow together, and feel secure. This gift would not only provide stability but also serve as a lasting tribute to the importance of family, community, and the nurturing environment that every child deserves.
