I love teaching because I get to be a part of a child’s story. I get to impact students not only academically but also social emotionally.

I have ALWAYS wanted to be a teacher as a young child. My fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Mlay, inspired me and had a huge impact on my life. Being able to teach and watch children grow is extremely fulfilling and I have always wanted to be apart of the world and change the future.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceSome of my most memorable moments are when student reach out to me in high school or after they graduate. I love to get surprise messages or visits asking if I remember them and telling me how their life is going now. I know I impact student lives daily but when kids look for you years later to tell you how much I impacted them it is priceless. That is the reason I teach.
What would you do with the $25,000?$25,000 would be so helpful in my life. I would use this money to payoff some bills and with the money that is left I will invest in my future. As a teacher you don’t make the most money so this would positively impact my future.
