I love teaching because I love children and I love being apart of helping them grow and develop.

I became a teacher because of my cousin. She is a child with special needs and went to an elementary school that included both typically developing students and those with special needs. When I went to visit her school I fell in love with it and knew that it's what I wanted to do.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was in 2020. I taught 3rd Grade Self-Contained Special Education from 2016-2022. In 2020 on of my students was chosen to be honored as the most improved student in special education for that year from our school district. The child worked really hard and improved so much throughout the year and was able to participate in a general education classroom for Reading.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to win the $25,000 I would use the money in my classroom, pay on my student loans, and save up for a house. I am currently living with my parents.
