A teacher who is passionate about the subject they teach makes ALL the difference! My passion is contagious and it shows with my students!

I became a teacher out of no where, a recently graduated biology student that was in dire need of a job relating to my field. I have a versatile background on my resume and a charter school saw me as fit to teach biology to 9th graders! I was given time to get my certifications and flourished in the classroom environment! I have loved it ever since. I now currently teach 6th grade science and I can truly say I love my job. My students are everything to me.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOh man way too many to choose from! What sticks with me the most are the countless times I have been told by students that they love my class and think I am a great teacher/their favorite teacher.
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would be a tremendous honor, and I’d use this opportunity to invest in both my personal growth and the continued development of my students. I am a teacher during the day and work a second job with childcare in the evenings. Living pay check to pay check, as many do, is not only stressful but exhausting. I would also use part of the money to help further my career with education with obtaining my master's degree. This money would be a blessing.
