I had an amazing teacher in college who was an inspiration for me. He helped me to become the person I am today, and I want to do the same for today’s youth. I want to teach, but also inspire my students to dare to be not great, but the greatest.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceAmazing new memories are created every single day! As an art teacher, there is no greater satisfaction than seeing a student’s face light up with amazement when they see what they are capable of creating! We all have an inner artist. I help them discover that!
What would you do with the $25,000?I will make sure that no student goes without eating lunch. I see too many students not eat lunch several times each week, and many students without coats in the winter. I would use the money to make sure our students have food, class supplies, and other essential items.
