I want to provide help, love and a passion for education for all as many kids as possible. Teaching has always been my passion and the happiness it brings me is incredible.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIt was my first year teaching, one of my students was struggling in school so I reached out to his mom. She informed me in a change in home life and how Christmas was coming but there was no way it would happen. As a class we were able to provide resources and gifts so my students and his family had a Christmas. After the student came back from break he was completely changed, his love for life and school came back and we had an amazing rest of the year.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to continue to help provide resources and necessities for our school. Working for a title one school requires you to be a bit creative because resources are limited. This money would allow me to make a difference beyond just what I’m able to help with. I would love to continue to give back as much as possible!
