Becoming a teacher wasn’t just a career choice—it was a calling. From a young age, I understood the profound impact teachers can have on a child’s life. The educators who shaped my own journey inspired me to be that guiding force for others—to inspire, empower, and open doors for the next generation. Every day in the classroom is an opportunity to make a difference, ignite curiosity, and help students believe in their limitless potential, just as my teachers did for me.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

The most memorable teaching experience I’ve had is when former students returned to visit and shared how much they loved our class and how they’d never forget me as their teacher. One of the most touching moments came when a parent told me that I was the best thing that ever happened to her daughter in her education journey. It’s these moments that remind me why I became a teacher—to make a lasting impact and to know that I’ve helped shape someone’s future in a meaningful way.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Winning this $25,000 would be a powerful step toward investing in my future. It would reward my dedication to teaching and allow me to focus even more on my students by reducing hours at my second job.
