It’s who I am. It’s who I’ve always been. My whole life has been dedicated to the caring and teaching of young people. I don’t know how to do anything else. As my seventh grade teacher said, “ when you wake up in the morning and your feet start running because you can’t wait to get to work, you are in the right profession”
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI guess when I asked one sixth grade student why the kids in his class behave for me but not for other teachers. I was a substitute at the time. He said, “because you listen to us. You actually listen. You may not agree with what we say, but you listen and make us feel validated. You care about us. “
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use part of it to take my third person (mom or dad) to Hawaii with me. Replace my car that’s on borrowed time, and probably give some to my boss because she really is the best
