I became a teacher because I love being part of what feels like a greater purpose than just myself. I love making an impact on other lives in such a positive sense that I couldn’t see myself doing anything else but teaching.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a little boy in my most recent years as a teacher that has stayed in close touch after he has left my class to continue his educational journey. And to this day he still talks about me at home, to his peers, and current teachers. His family has left me the most glowing review stating that I am more than just a teacher, I was family to their son. And I felt like their child was family to me. And that is something I cherish so deeply.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would pay off loans and use it to enroll in some additional administrative courses to further my own education to become a better leader amongst the child development field.
