Watching students become the teachers. Those moments when they really understand something and then they can teach it to others is truly magical. The excitement they get over I just learned this, now let me show you is something I could watch all day long.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience.I became part of the #pinksocks movement a few years ago and have been introducing it to staff and my students every year. This year our school was adopted and every student received a pair of these special socks and now, they too are kindness Ambassador looking for the good everywhere and helping others to spot it, too.
What would you do with the $25,000?Keep growing #pinksocks in our school community. I'd like to help the middle school and high school students feel seen as well. Our classroom always needs something from pencils to chairs to writing paper so it will help in so many ways. We can also help stock our clothes and supply closet so students have everything they need to be successful.
