I actually did not consider being a teacher. I stumbled upon it being a pharmacy technician and educating others to become techs. Then I landed in high school teaching the same thing and I just fell in love with it and watching my students become successful in their healthcare careers.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI can say my most memorable is when I was a new teacher and I was teaching pharmacy math to my 5o+ student and I was in my early 30's. When the lightbulb finally went on and she understood the math that was an awesome moment.
What would you do with the $25,000?My Mom turns 80 this year and I have watched her work hard all my life. She is still currently working 40 hours a week and I truly know I got my work ethic from here. I want to celebrate her amazing milestone and throw her a birthday party with all the bells and whistles.
