Learn MoreI became a teacher to make a meaningful impact on others’ lives. I enjoy helping people understand new ideas and grow in confidence. Seeing students have those “aha” moments is incredibly rewarding. Teaching also keeps me learning, and it allows me to support and guide others as they reach their potential.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable teaching experiences was helping a student who struggled with confidence and often felt discouraged. Over time, with patience and support, they began to participate more and take risks in their learning. The moment they successfully completed a challenging task on their own and felt proud of it was unforgettable—it reminded me why teaching matters.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I received the $25,000, I would invest it directly into my classroom and students. I would purchase updated learning materials, technology, and hands-on resources to create a more engaging and inclusive environment. I’d also set aside funds for enrichment opportunities like field trips or guest speakers, ensuring all students—regardless of background—have access to meaningful learning experiences.
