Yoli Camacho

I started working as a teacher assistant after High school. The teacher that I worked for would tell me daily are you sure you want to be a law officer. I really think you’re shinning like a teacher in our eyes. I really did know my heart was in teaching. I was just trying to stick to something that was going to help people. I realized that being a teacher was still helping the community. My day would go by so fast and let alone I enjoy every second of it. Preachool was where my my heart belong.

When a child drew a picture of me wearing a super hero cape and said “Ms. Yoli you’re my super hero” and she gave me a big hug and i genuinely felt the most powerful hug. She would admire me daily and always took the time to hug me and tell me she loved me. Her parents would share with me that she would go home daily and role play that she was me with her stuff animals. She would always talk about me very positively. That was powerful to see the impact I did to one child at a time. My heart.

I would buy myself a decent car that can take me to work since I’m having car problems for 4 months now. I need to get to my little ones. I would buy new materials for my little ones. I would also save some money for emergency. I live paycheck to paycheck and each time I have an emergency I don’t have extra money to make repairs or pull money from a savings. I would like to have the luxury to buy something that I really like at times that I don’t have the extra money to buy.
