Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. Teaching allows me to guide my students as they learn, grow, and discover their abilities. I care about helping my students feel supported, encouraged, and confident in themselves. I enjoy creating a positive classroom environment where they feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Being a teacher is more than just a job for me—it is a way to inspire young minds and help shape their future.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable moments as a teacher is seeing a student finally understand something they had been struggling with. I remember the excitement on their face when everything “clicked” and they realized they could do it. Moments like that remind me why I chose to become a teacher. Watching my students grow in confidence, celebrate their achievements, and realize their potential is incredibly rewarding. Those small victories in the classroom become unforgettable memories that stay with me.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I received $25,000, I would invest it in ways that benefit both my students and my classroom. I would purchase new learning materials, books, and technology that help make lessons more engaging and interactive. I would also create more hands-on learning opportunities, such as educational field trips, science kits, and art supplies that allow students to explore and learn creatively.I would also set aside some of the funds to support students who may need extra resources.
