I became a teacher because I am committed to giving our future generations the best education possible. I believe every child deserves a teacher who is calming, patient, compassionate and dedicated to student learning. I chose a job in education to be this kind of teacher for my students.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was year 1, day 1, when I got to be in my classroom with my students for the first time. The most amazing feeling was seeing their faces, getting to know them better, and finding how they learn best.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put some of the money in my savings for my future family, pay back my parents the money they gave me to help with college, and donate the rest to UNICEF to help children around the world get access to a better life and quality education.
