Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I was inspired by my 5th grade teacher. She helped me believe in myself and encouraged me to be confident. Her passion for teaching and the way she cared about her students left a lasting impression on me. She was not only an excellent teacher but also a role model who showed me the impact a teacher can have on a student's life. Because of her, I told myself that one day I wanted to become a teacher just like her. Now, I strive to inspire and support my own students.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was learning why a student was always sleepy in class. At first, I thought she was not interested, but | later discovered she woke up very early to do household chores and walked a long distance to school. Realizing this changed my perspective as a teacher. It reminded me that students carry struggles we may not see and that empathy and understanding are essential in teaching.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000, I would save the money in the bank for my children's education. As a parent, their future is very important to me, and I want to make sure they have the opportunity to pursue their dreams. This money would help support their school needs, college expenses, and other educational opportunities that will help them succeed in life.
