Music. It shaped me as a person. Helped me understand working with others, setting goals, following through, finishing and expecting excellence in all that I do. These are skills that have propelled me throughout my life both in and out of the classroom. I desire to share this skillset with others. To encourage and guide our students to be their best and expect the best from themselves in all that they do. Hoping to serve them what is needed so that they can become their potential
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy current opportunities to grow young learners and prepare them for their teaching career in music education. Seeing them achieve. Seeing them grow from being students to colleagues and finally mentors to others. Passing the torch to the next generation of learners. Daily, we are investing in our students so that they have the confidence and skill set to invest in others. Teaching is about serving others, giving to others, and growing with others.
What would you do with the $25,000?Two projects 1. Donate to our scholarship fund at the college 2. Use as funding to allow more schools/students to afford attending leadership workshops and sessions in order to grow and discover the tools needed for success with themselves and with others.
