Learn MoreI became a teacher because I found a love for helping people learn new knowledge. I was student who struggled with reading and when I could help someone in math or science it brought me so much feeling like I could make a difference with what I had.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience was last year when my students and I made a sound wave replica with gummy bears, skewers, and duct tape. Watching their faces light up when they got it to work and seeing how much they loved learning about how and why it worked. Not to mention watching them work together to get it to the perfect length and seeing new friendships grow from simply helping eachother.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000 I would get my masters degree and endorsement in gifted and talented. Anything left I would save until it was needed for personal or classroom use.
