I love English. I wanted to help others love it too. I love watching students discover their unique voices and gain confidence through their writing.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are too many memorable experiences. I remember the weddings, the funerals, the valedictorians. I remember equating writing to picking your nose and a student telling me she would continue picking. I remember waiting over 2 hours with a student whose parent forgot to pick her up. The hugs, the tears, the smiles. They’re all invaluable.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use it to pay off my student loans and apply what’s left over toward my masters degree.
