I became a teacher when I learned that I can relate to young students who want to learn and love the sciences. I felt that my background knowledge in the field of science could inspire students to pursue careers in the STEM field.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had the privilege of teaching gifted and talented students to do scientific research and be able to create innovative projects that impact society in the classroom. These projects competed at science fairs and allowed the student to garner awards and academic accolades.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest it in buying laboratory equipment and resources to provide new hands-on experiments for students inside and outside the classroom.
