The medical field was not my calling. I prayed about it and the next day I walked into the School of Education at my school. I told them I wanted to change my major from biomedical research-nursing to education biology and math. The rest is history and I am 20 years in the game.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceSuccessfully, getting all my EL students to pass the state assessment for Algebra I. That was the hardest year of my life being that they were introduced to the English language for the first time.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest some in the math department at my current school and take a family vacation with the rest.
