Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I have a deep passion for helping students grow and succeed. I believe education has the power to transform lives, and I wanted to be part of that positive change. Teaching allows me to inspire curiosity, build meaningful relationships, and make a lasting impact on young minds. Seeing students develop confidence and reach their potential motivates me every day. I am committed to creating a supportive environment where they can thrive and become their best selves.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable moments was when a 1st-grade student who didn't speak English was struggling with confidence and academics, finally understood a difficult concept after weeks of patience and support. Seeing her light up with confidence was incredibly rewarding. It reinforced my passion for teaching and showed me how patience, encouragement, and belief can make a profound difference. That a moment of growth can make a big difference.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I had $25,000, I would use it to repay my mom for the financial burden she bore during my difficult three-year arranged marriage. She spent so much money on a divorce lawyer and supported me emotionally through the challenges. I want to show my gratitude and help ease her stress by giving her the money she spent to help me find freedom and peace.
