Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher, because it’s what I was made for. I just love teaching. I love everything about it. The kids, the look in their eyes when it finally “clicks”, the hugs for no reason, all of the questions, even helping them through their struggles. Watching them grow into the little humans God designed them to be. Teaching is the next best blessing to being a mama! The hardest part is having to say goodbye after 9 months of loving and teaching them! I can’t imagine doing anything else.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

It would be almost impossible to name one thing. It’s an experience, a lifestyle. I will remember my years of teaching as some of the best of my life next to my family memories. One memory that stands out is at the end of one school year all of my student’s parents, made me a video of all our experiences together that year! That was special.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put the money towards my son’s education! Maybe use $5000 and take my family to Disneyland!
